The spells are great ways to shut down encounters and violence; thematic and effective. Free advantage on one attack per round is pretty sweet, to say the least. The free version lets you make first-level characters in basically no time at all, and the paid version ($2.99 I believe) lets you make them up to 20th level. Celestial: I’m glad this exists. The standout here is the ability to force your opponent to attack one of their allies with a single ki point! The other is awesome in combat; essentially make your opponent feel the same pain they inflicted on one of your allies - very nice. Fighter +Str or Dex +Con. The 10 level feature is pretty strong. And the capstone on this one is also just super damn cool and super effective, if you need it. 7th level gives us proficiency in Wisdom saving throws and that’s honestly pretty badass on a Fighter. You gain healing spells and can use your own energy to heal your allies, you gain resistance to radiant damage and can boost your own radiant attacks. The option to use the special teleportation circle is great, but scrying and dream as options too is just super useful, super cool icing on an already delicious cake. 1. Bear Spirit seems particularly effective in very early levels with 5+your druid lvl temporary hit points per party member. You summon four CR2 creatures with buffed hp to avenge you and protect you. Arcane Deflection is nice, though I need to carefully weight opportunity costs with it, but it is a nice option to have. Fear the captured enemy and they'll retreat "to the safest location they know", oh hey it's a secret enemy base. When 5th edition first came out, the Player’s Handbook came with all of the class options as well as a few subclasses to give further definition to your character and their abilities. But I agree that if you were going further Battlerager would be the better option. A third attack form Extra Attack. But Expertise in Arcana, changing out prepared spells, and “mini-wish” were excellent concepts that I absolutely loved, especially to pair with the “generalist” Wizard! This list isn’t the way you are expected to play the subclass, but our own interpretation of what the subclass archetype is trying to be. Inquisitive: I honestly just love this one.
